A new cooperation between the German Embassy and Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah: German organist Christian Schmitt, recipient of multiple awards, held his concert “Deutsche Orgelwerke” at the Amricani Cultural Centre on Gulf Road on 11 January 2015 in front of a packed house.

His Excellency Ambassador Eugen Wollfarth received a special award from the Kuwaiti media and economic sector on 29 December 2014. He was elected “best Ambassador” in the “TOP50” awards, which encompass a total of 50 different categories.

IPS programme for the Arab countries
In 2015, the German Bundestag is once again offering a scholarship programme for politically interested young Arab graduates who are keen to learn more about the German parliamentary system and want to play an active role in promoting core democratic values in their home countries.

Brochure "Dialogue among Civilizations"
Germany is committed to intercultural dialogue with the Islamic world both at the grassroot level and in international fora. The Federal Foreign Office has published a Brochure on this important topic.
Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle states in his foreword to the brochure:
