The all-German final in Wembley
Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund are playing in the final of the Champions League at London’s Wembley Stadium.The two best European football teams this year come from Germany: for the first time in the history of the Champions League two German teams, Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund, will be competing in the final at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The handling of visa applications remains unchanged by the service provider of the Embassy in Kuwait at Al Qabas Assurex (www.qavisa.com).
The German Business Council Kuwait (GBCK) held its annual meeting with the election of the new Board of Directors on March 12, 2013. The Council which was founded in 2005 as non-governmental and non-profit seeking association represents various German, Austrian and Swiss companies operating in Kuwait. German, Austrian and Swiss business people and specialists working for local companies are organized in the GBCK.
The external service provider Al Qabas Assurex is operating a Visa Application Centre in support of the German Embassy in Kuwait.
Short-term visa applications for travels to Germany (e.g. for tourism, visits, business) are to be submitted to the service provider Al Qabas who will for your convenience ensure that all the relevant documents are included in your application.
The German Embassy wishes to extend and update its information basis on German business in Kuwait. Therefore, all Kuwaiti companies acting as an agent for or representing German companies in any other way in Kuwait are invited to register at the Embassy.

Brochure "Dialogue among Civilizations"
Germany is committed to intercultural dialogue with the Islamic world both at the grassroot level and in international fora. The Federal Foreign Office has published a Brochure on this important topic.
Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle states in his foreword to the brochure:
"Openness, respect and trust are the pillars for a dialogue between equals and for friendships at all levels in our countries, as well as between Germany and the Islamic world."
