Federal Foreign Minister Gabriel visiting Kuwait as last station on his tour his trip through the Gulf region in search of conciliation

Federal Foreign Minister Gabriel visited Kuwait on 5 July as last station of four on his trip through the Gulf region in search of conciliation, after having visited Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

In his talks with the Emir of the State of Kuwait, H. H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, H. H. Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as well as in his consultations with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and the special envoy for the Qatar crisis, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, H. E. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Minister Gabriel underlined Germany’s strong support of Kuwait in its role as mediator in this difficult situation.
