Delegation of the parliamentary group of the German Bundestag (Parliament) “Arabic Speaking States of the Middle East” visiting Kuwait. Focus on strengthening bilateral relations and chances to intensify cooperation.
A delegation of the parliamentary group of the German Bundestag (Parliament) “Arabic Speaking States of the Middle East” visited Kuwait from 14 until 16 February 2015. This was their first stop during their week-long tour through the region.

The delegation headed by Michael Hennrich (CDU/CSU) was comprised of the following members of Parliament: Gabriele Groneberg (SPD), Dagmar Wöhrl (CDU/CSU), Gabriele Schmidt (CDU/CSU) and Dr Simone Raatz (SPD).
Accompanied by Ambassador Eugen Wollfarth, the five parliamentarians held talks with Adel Musaed Al-Jarallah Al-Khorafi, Secretary General of the National Assembly of Kuwait, members of the German-Kuwaiti Friendship Group, members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Council of the National Assembly and General Lieutenant Suleiman Fahad Al-Fahad, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior.
